Meeting called to order at 8:00 PM. About 8 members and 1 guest were present. .

Officer Reports

Secretary:

March minutes are on our web site.

Treasurer:

Bank–Member dues were summarized. $1,065.60 in Bank, Petty Cash - $80.00, Electric Fund - $1,752.00 Total - $2,897.61

1. Paid phone bill

2. Paid $300 to Keith for land. Balance is $6,000. We're halfway to paying off the balance. 20 more payments to go.

Observatory Director:

Marty reported that both scopes are working properly and that we will be discussing the electrical service project. We are missing a 12.5 mm Nagler type 2 out of the gray cabinet. (It's back as of June meeting)

Old Business:

1. CEI should be replacing the pole and mounting a transformer on the North side of Huntley. We need to install a meter socket.
   
2. No activity on Oberle Scope

New Business:

1. Star party at Big Creek in May 19 th with 20 th as back up. .
   
2. Mahoning has a star party on May 27 th.
   
3. Saturday June 3 next business meeting at IHO.
   
4. Saturday June 17 th is OTAA at IHO.
   
5. Motion to add Starry Night Lighting website to CVAS website.
   
6. Guests inluded Rocky Giordano, Karen, Chuck Dietrich.

Motion to adjourn at 8:55 PM. Observed Comet SW-3 that evening.
